A month ago, I discovered Betrayal at Ravenswick A Fiona Figg Mystery by Kelly Oliver. What surprised me is that I was not able to put the book down. In fact, I read it in one day. For me this was very unusual because it was that good.
Betrayal at Ravenswick is about how Fiona Figg during the height of World War II who was betrayed by her husband Andrew Cunningham. They eventually got divorced because he was having an affair with his secretary. Fiona loved her husband so much and was very devastated about what he did. She was very upset about what he did. So she became a British spy by using a very ingenuous plan to verify the mystery around Frederick Fredericks. Fiona learned about this complex spy in the war room where she worked at so she decided to show them she could check on what Mr. Fredericks is all about.
Frederick Fredericks was a complex spy who they were not sure which side he was on. The British government felt that he was a super spy who could have had German feelings and was thought of as the Great White Hunter. Fiona went to Ravenswick Abbey to meet him disguised as a man. Also, she helped solve a mystery here.
Ms. Oliver has manifestly written a book that is so compelling that I can’t wait to read her other books in this series. Because I read this book I am becoming interested in learning about the spy world. What I have found is that by reading books like this I want to learn more about information about spies. That information would be interesting to study.
