Have you ever wanted to know what a bible verse meant? Or what a bible event meant? The Life application Study Bible is where I found this information for a peaceful soul.
I did just that during Lent. You see I read the Book of Daniel. It was life changing for me because I learned how God wanted me to be. And how we should play a part in it. This gave me peace in my soul because life is sometimes hard to navigate.
The Book of Daniel (like all the other books of the bible) started off with informational background that helped me to better understand what I was going to be reading.
Before I start to read the bible chapters, I gathered background information by reading the Introduction, the Blueprint and the Vital Statistic sections. This gave me a lot of valuable information about what was happening during this period of time. Also, how God wanted me to understand what I needed to change to do his bidding.
The Vital Statistics section allowed me to see the Purpose of the book and other information like the Author’s name and the Date it was written. Also, it had the original audience, the setting of the book and Key people. When I needed to get more helpful information about a bible verse, I went to the Study notes section to get a better understanding of what it meant.
To me this was very valuable information to understand and interpret what the book of Daniel needed me to know about. Also, bible aides were very informative and interesting to make me want to continue reading when I wasn’t interested in doing it. It helped me to continue on.
What I found out was that Life application Study Bible was better than most other bibles I had read. They did not have all of this information for me to interpret what I was reading. And that is why I love to read this bible. It gave me everything I needed to understand to continue with my bible studies.
The book of Daniel taught me that God was telling me that I needed to follow his will because he had a game plan that I had to accept sight unseen. Daniel said it will be well in the end. And I felt better about myself and my world when I finished reading this book. In a sense it made me feel peace in my soul! And I believe it will be the same for you if you read this book.
